The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. – Psalm 23:1
God goes by a lot of names, and each name has meaning to the character of who God is to His people. The first one is obvious: “The Lord is my Shepherd”; but the second isn’t as obvious: “I shall not want.” One translation says “I lack nothing.”
There’s a name for this attribute of God and it’s Jehovah-Jireh which means The Lord Provides. It’s first found in Genesis 22, and in this message, we look to this incredible passage to discover this Jehovah-Jireh God in our own lives.
